VoiceOver

We included two voice-overs to begin and end our piece. They are both spoken by Jack.
'You can only run for so long' begins the piece and
'If I stayed at home none of this would ever happen.' finishes it.



We decided to use the voice over to raise questions in the audience and build a mood of anticipation. The first voiceover may show the audience that it will be a chase and that he will have to stop and possibly be caught.

The voiceover at the end of the opening raises questions about how the criminal got into the situation he is and leads into the back story and a flashback that would hypothetically follow the ending.
