1. Establishing shot
2. Fade in to criminal walking towards the camera.
3. Cut to face twisting and turning – show panic
4. Mid shot of 2 detectives – similar background as criminal – both looking around for criminal
5. Several cross cuts between detectives and criminal – makes a link between character (2 looking for the 1 in fear of them)
6. Mid shot of the criminal – fast long distance zoom over criminals shoulder to the detectives, 1 of which turn to the camera, and one starts to raise his arm, and opens mouth to shout
7. Arm still raising, mid shot diagonally in front of 2 detectives, and arm raised detective shouts “He’s over there” – Both detectives lean as if to start running
8. Same mid shot of criminal as in step 5, he turns and starts leaning to sprint
9. Low angle close up shot behind feet of criminal as he starts his run, dirt flicks at camera – Stay on this shot for step 9:
10. Camera still rolling from step 8 as both detectives now run past/over the camera. Keep filming till detectives are in a long shot from the camera.
11. Tracking shot mid distance behind criminal running towards the low wall, cut to next about a metre away from the wall
12. Still shot, long distance, of criminal stepping up to jump from to wall – slow motion this part just before he leaps into the air off the wall, cut to next while still early in jump.
13. Still in slow motion, low angle shot from ground looking up under criminal. Mid distance shot (Similar to horse jump shots)
14. Stop slow motion, as he falls the last foot, camera in front of criminal, close up shot as he lands, slight stumble.
15. Repeat steps 9-11 with detectives together in all shots (Graphic scene match?), have them perform the jump much more smoothly to show they’re better than the criminal.
16. Criminal shoots blindly behind him, long shot showing outstretched arm and gun firing, clearly missing
17. Cut to detectives chasing camera, flinching in time with gunshots
18. Cut to midshot as criminal turns, gun in both hands, steadier focused aiming, fast zoom to close up of barrel of gun – 2 shots
19. Mid shot tilt, to high angle showing shot detective – keep cross cutting to this shot over several other shots
20. Close up showing gentle smile on criminals face, still running backwards, then turns head, and starts to trip – show head drop out of the bottom of the scene
21. Alongside, travelling/tracking shot long shot, slow motion as body trips, bad fall and tumble
22. Still camera twist, watching detective run past camera – long to close to long
23. Long ground mid shot behind criminal, showing criminal scrambling to get up – gets partly up (Pressed up by arms)
24. Cut ground mid shot in front of criminal showing hand slips, body crumbles to ground again
25. Tracking shot behind detective, slight high angle – cut to next after he gets a few meters from criminal, still struggling to get up
26. Over the shoulder shot from detective, showing criminal turn, see him, then criminal grabs dirt with his hand
27. Close up of criminals hand grabbing the dirt, twist hand to throw
28. Low angle shot, POV showing arm throw the dirt into detectives face
29. Cut to large close up (Showing shoulder to head), as dirt hits detectives face – hand wipe/choke etc.
30. Low angle mid shot showing criminal getting up – then run past camera (Detective in background still)
31. Cut to tracking shot of criminal running again – occasional head turning – worried look
32. Moving camera shot opposite direction to characters, both running fast paced
33. Alongside tracking long shot, past trees, camera moves slower than characters
34. Still camera twist, criminal passes, then tracks detective as he runs past – camera tracks out behind and follows chase briefly
35. Close up low height tracking shot of criminals legs running fast – tracks slows allow criminal to run out of scene, then detectives legs catch up, track these with the same shot
36. Cut to criminal chasing camera, then hand stretches out to grab tree branch
37. Mid close up in front of criminal, hand grasps branch, body begins to swing round
38. Shot behind tree, showing criminal swing out the other side, heading in the adjacent direction now
39. Mid shot detective chasing camera, head twist, glancing to see a shortcut to catch up with the criminal – moves towards shortcut, and out of the scene
40. Low angle long shot – twist following detective running past camera to his shortcut
41. Cut to high angle long/ mid shot of criminal running – occasional glancing behind him
42. Another low angle long shot of detective, also twist following him, as he steps up one step onto a log/fallen tree (Find good jump prop for this)
43. Mid shot of detectives legs/feet stepping up to leap on the jump prop
44. Tracking shot of detective starting his dive through the air
45. Cut to low (ish) angle shot in front of criminal, slow motion seeing detective in air behind him about to hit
46. Cut to shot diagonally behind/alongside detective in the air, long/mid shot, pause screen as soon as detective hits shoulders – do not show him starting to fall, or even affected by the hands on shoulders – voice over now
47. After voice over, screen fades out to the title - END
